Now Hiring: Organizer

Black Lives Matter–Canada (BLMCA) is a platform upon which Black communities across Canada can actively dismantle all forms of anti-Black racism, liberate Blackness, support Black healing, affirm Black existence, and create freedom to love and self-determine. Wildseed Centre for Art & Activism was birthed by Black artists and activists who recognized the need for enduring community space to cultivate the grounds of Toronto’s diverse Black communities. BLMCA and Wildseed Centre are projects of M4BJ, a Black-led not-for-profit, charitable organisation.

BLMCA primarily engages in serving the needs of Black communities. In order to effectively support these communities and provide opportunities for historically marginalized people, candidates who have lived experience will be strongly considered.

We are committed to providing an inclusive, barrier-free selection process and work environment. We will work with you to meet your access needs. Requests can be made at any phase of the recruitment process and should be emailed to opportunities@blacklivesmatter.ca if you require accommodations.

We are currently seeking an Organizer, who will report to and be supervised by the Executive Director.
